The Elder Scrolls Legends’ next expansion is titled Heroes of Skyrim
Bethesda announced during its pre-E3 show that the next expansion for its digital CCG The Elder Scrolls Legends is titled Heroes of Skyrim, and as you might guess from its title, the expansion will conjure up the best elements of the single-player RPG The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
According to this post on Bethesda.net, the expansion will introduce 150 new cards, many of which feature iconic characters, creatures, and other elements from Skyrim like Shouts:
“Heroes of Skyrim reintroduces some of our favorite characters from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, including allies like Aela the Huntress, J’Zargo and Delphine, as well as some Dragons of legend like Alduin and Paarthurnax. The Dragons in Heroes of Skyrim appear across all attributes, and many will reward players for playing them with other Dragons.”
In Heroes of Skyrim, players will be able to “power up” their Shout cards by using them repeatedly, and a new series of Companion creatures (based off the Companions guild in Skyrim) will be able to transform into their werewolf forms whenever the player who controls them breaks one of their opponent’s runes.
The Heroes of Skyrim expansion is set to launch on June 29. Bethesda promises more information on the expansion will be shared between now and the expansion’s release. You can watch a short teaser for the expansion below.
