Metal Gear Survive will launch in February 2018

After a period of radio silence, Konami has now confirmed that its upcoming co-op spin-off game Metal Gear Survive will launch for PC and consoles in February 2018.

This recent tweet from Konami confirmed a February 20 launch date for Metal Gear Survive in the U.S. and a February 22 date for Europe. While the image in the tweet only lists PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms, Konami later clarified that the above dates apply to the game’s PC launch as well. The image also shows the various in-game bonuses players can snag if they pre-order Metal Gear Survive, bonuses which include the following:

  • Four gold-plated melee weapons
  • Two additional character emotes
  • Four wearable survival scarves of different colors
  • A ‘Kabuki’ face paint design
  • A Mother Base profile nameplate
  • A ‘Boxman’ equippable accessory

Metal Gear Survive will launch at a $39.99 price point and will allow players to experience an alternate timeline in the Metal Gear V: The Phantom Pain universe in which they must fend off zombie-esque creatures in a survival scenario.
