Microsoft Store teaming up with ASUS ROG to host weekly League of Legends tournaments

Microsoft s teaming up with ASUS ROG and HyperX to bring weekly League of Legends tournaments to your local Microsoft store.

Players will compete in-store on ROG G752Vs gaming laptops with ROG Gladius Mice, Whetstone mouse pads, and HyperX Cloud II headsets.

Unlocked accounts and prizes

For the tournament, players will be playing on League of Legends unlocked accounts. So don’t worry if you don’t own all the champs, the accounts you’ll be playing on will. You can think of it as a small taste of what the pros get.

Prizes will include in-game swag like XP and IP boosts and Riot Points gift cards. It’s also highly likely that ASUS will be giving out some peripheral swag, but nothing is currently confirmed on that point.

For those who don’t have five close friends, you can sign up individually. The first event is this Saturday, August 26 at the Microsoft Store in Westfield Century City, Los Angeles.
