Rainbow Six Siege’s Operation Blood Orchid will launch in late August

Ubisoft has announced that the next major content update for Rainbow Six Siege, titled ‘Operation Blood Orchid,’ will be arriving later this month, bringing with it three new playable operators, a new map, and more.

Operation Blood Orchid’s deviation from the usual content release schedule (normally a single content update only has two new operators) is due to the long-term efforts Ubisoft is making to improve Siege’s performance and stability, an undertaking that Ubisoft has designated ‘Operation Health’. Operation Blood Orchid will include two new operators from Hong Kong and one from Poland, and all three will become available to Year Two Season Pass owners on August 29 (September 5 for those who don’t own the pass). The new map will be set in Hong Kong.

A full reveal of Operation Blood Orchid will be made during the upcoming Rainbow Six Siege Pro League finals which will be held on August 26 during Gamescom. You can watch a teaser trailer for the Pro League finals below.
